Run/Walk/Train

Kansas City Express offers several options to help you begin or maintain your running or walking program.

Running and walking together
Training with a group can be more rewarding and motivating than training alone.  So, we organize free group runs/walks every Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. You will enjoy a new course each month with varying distances (usually 6-10 miles) based on the goals of everyone in the group. We provide water/sports drinks for you along the route. For more information, contact Saskia Jacobse, Group Run Coordinator: saskia7 at kc.rr.com

Group Run Locations:

  • July: Roasterie, 6223 Brookside Blvd, KCMO
  • Aug: Farm to Market Bread, downtown Overland Park
  • Also available: Speed training at Shawnee Mission East High School (Mission and 75th) Alternating track work and hill runs. For details, contact Saskia Jacobse: saskia7 at kc.rr.com
